Network & Server Support Specialist
Can you speak techno babble and English?
We are looking for a good computer and network engineer to
assist our businesses with their technology
needs. These needs encompass all IT support functions including
training, server setup, cloud management, and network setup & maintenance.
Our work is done primarily on-site but does include remote support and telephone support (for our customer
help desk). We are looking for an outgoing individual who can
speak both techno babble and plain English.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows (all versions from
Windows XP through Windows 10), Windows Server Operating Systems (2008-2019), TCP/IP, Microsoft networking,
category 5 & 6 cabling, wireless networks, Microsoft Office,
and server hardware is required. Experience with e-mail systems such as Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365 platforms is also required. Strong verbal and
inter-personal skills along with problem solving skills are also
required.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems,
Active Directory, Exchange Server, UNIX computer systems, RAID
systems, smart phones, routers, printers, and databases is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-4 years working in a computer services/technical
support role.
- Server and network certifications are preferred but not required
